慶祝香港回歸祖國25周年大會(huì )暨香港特別行政區第六屆政府就職典禮7月1日上午在香港會(huì )展中心隆重舉行。中共中央總書(shū)記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平出席并發(fā)表重要講話(huà)。

After its return to China, Hong Kong has shown pioneering spirit in the magnificent process of China's reform and opening-up and played an important role in connecting the mainland with the rest of the world, making irreplaceable contributions to the long-term stable and rapid development of China's economy.

After its return to China, Hong Kong has overcome various challenges and made steady progress in all aspects. Be it the global financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, or dramatic social upheavals, nothing has stopped Hong Kong from moving forward.

After its return to China, Hong Kong has ensured its people's status as masters of the region. With the policy of the people of Hong Kong governing Hong Kong with a high degree of autonomy in practice, authentic democracy starts to take shape in the region.

二、四點(diǎn)“啟示”

1. 必須全面準確貫徹“一國兩制”方針。

The principle of "one country, two systems" must be fully and faithfully implemented.

2. 必須堅持中央全面管治權和保障特別行政區高度自治權相統一。

Both overall jurisdiction by the central authorities and HKSAR's high degree of autonomy must be ensured.

3. 必須落實(shí)“愛(ài)國者治港”。

Hong Kong must be governed by patriots.

4. 必須保持香港的獨特地位和優(yōu)勢。

Hong Kong's distinctive status and strengths must be maintained.

1. “一國兩制”的根本宗旨是維護國家主權、安全、發(fā)展利益，保持香港、澳門(mén)長(cháng)期繁榮穩定。

The fundamental purpose of the policy of "one country, two systems" is to safeguard China's sovereignty, security and development interests and to maintain long-term prosperity and stability in Hong Kong and Macao.

The policy of "one country, two systems" has been tested repeatedly in practice. It serves the fundamental interests of not only Hong Kong and Macao, but also the whole country and the nation. It has gained the full support from the more than 1.4 billion Chinese people including the residents of Hong Kong and Macao, and it is also widely recognized by the international community. There is no reason for us to change such a good policy, and we must adher to it over the long run.

4. 把香港特別行政區管治權牢牢掌握在愛(ài)國者手中，這是保證香港長(cháng)治久安的必然要求，任何時(shí)候都不能動(dòng)搖。

To keep the power to govern the HKSAR firmly in the hands of those who love the country is essential for safeguarding the long-term stability and security of Hong Kong. At no time should this principle be allowed to be compromised.

5. 香港的根本利益同國家的根本利益是一致的，中央政府的心同香港同胞的心也是完全連通的。

The fundamental interests of Hong Kong are in line with those of the country, and the central government and Hong Kong compatriots share the same aspirations.

6. 青年興，則香港興；青年發(fā)展，則香港發(fā)展；青年有未來(lái)，則香港有未來(lái)。

Hong Kong will prosper only when its young people thrive; Hong Kong will develop only when its young people achieve well-rounded development; and Hong Kong will have a future only when its young people have a bright future.
